I did not win an oven from SPEMCI. So what? *bitter* So we bought one. For the photo, I got it covered, sister.
Last night I made some chocolate chip cookies with the new oven… but somehow they turned it into a giant cake! HAHAHAHAH. They still taste great though!
P.S. I followed this recipe.
P.P.S. You gotta click the photo to see.

Jessa Ang: Behind the Scenes: Shop Pop Photo x My Cup of Tea
I am very ecstatic and honored to announce that I am part of this new collaboration between two rising online shops, Shop Pop Photo and My Cup of Tea! Many thanks to generous sisters, Aleli and Jessa Ang, and of course to my dear sister, Abi, who has all my support to her new endeavor. Glory to God! *Leaps with joy* I’ll update you!
Another last minute planned collaboration between Shop Pop Photo and My Cup of Tea! I actually didn’t have any more time to do this, but thankfully, my hotel tour that day at Hyatt was moved to next week. :)
Anyhow, I can’t reveal much about the collection first, so here are some behind the scenes photos from yesterday’s shoot!
Indeed one of the best and awesome team to work with. It was definitely fun, and everything went smoothly. :) Thank you again to the Padilla sisters, Jezreel and Abi, and of course to Aleli for helping me out with this. <3

Chicken Grammy Speech
People used to think that I am the kind of girl who can be very natural in front of the camera. Some friends would even ask me, “Bakit di ka mag-model?” Sabi naman sa Bible, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”, which translates to “kilabot tayo sa ganda!” Hahahahaha joker arroyo lang po! Ako na! Ako na! Ako na ang feelingerang payat na maganda! Sakalin mo na ako!
The truth of the matter is…
This is a year 2006 short film directed by my sister. My office mates use this as a blackmail resource but I don’t care anymore. Haha!
I’m a conscious bebe! Hahahaha! So, I guess, that answers some of their condescending hallucinatory questions. Malay natin mag-improve… Life is a process… Who knows? Hahaha…
Eto pa… Speaking of mahinhin a la Maria Clara… Remember the video we produced less than a year ago for a local fastfood chain’s online video contest? I just remembered I have not posted an update on it yet. Guess what, WE WON! (link to the proof) By WE, I meant it includes all of you, people, especially those who liked and commented on the Facebook video we posted!
<videos to be embedded here. In the meantime, you can view here>

I know it’s not the best. We only had one day to think and one day to implement, the audio isn’t audible enough, the place was getting darker as the sun sets, and I couldn’t help but smize! Shucks, what a bad emoticonera! Hahaha, no valid excuses.
But the point I am driving at is… Sumwak tayo under the category of MOST NUMBER OF UNIQUE COMMENTERS. And so now, please consider this as my heartfelt official acknowledgment statement na parang nanalo lang sa Grammy’s:
Thank God for this confidence, this talent (ahem), and these family and friends. Thanks to Chowking for the pakulo, to Erwin for directing and keeping up with the Kardashian, and, of course, to the 159 likers, 47 commenters and countless “believers” na masarap talaga ang Chinese-Style Fried Chicken ng Chowking. We won a 16-Gig ipod nano! I decided not to keep it for reasons that I have disclosed in a separate blog post in here. Just print this blog post as coupon to claim your share of price. Haha!
Just sharing God’s goodness. To Him be the glory!
Back in college I took not one, but TWO bowling classes, cos I was avoiding the sweaty contact sports (and the terrible locker rooms) but thought I was better off than doing chess or scrabble. There are such PE classes.
Needless to say I didn’t learn much, except maybe the form. The teacher always said that the strikes start with the form. After a couple of games I ended up with a sore hip. Form shmorm.
That’s me in the first photo… in a bad form.
Love the retro vibe of Mr. Jones. We went there shortly before our cousins went back to the states, and it’s perfect for catching up over burgers and milkshakes. Oh, and for playing games!
I miss my cousins.
